Our first trip to the Rocky Mountains

Kevin's co-worker has a cabin about 45 minutes outside of Rocky Mountain National Park.  We had a great time checking it out and hope to be back again.

2nd Visit to CA

We made it back to CA for the the 2nd time since we moved.  I was supposed to go with the kids for 3.5 days but then we remembered Kevin had a Southwest credit that was about to expire so he was able to come out for the weekend.  I ended up staying 7 days which was great but  I was tired by the end and ready to go "home".  The kids had a great time with their cousins.  Kiersten fits right in with the girls and it's really quite funny.   I was able to go to Disneyland with Nathan for a few hours (just the two of us) before meeting up with some friends, my mom, Kim, Liz, Sydney & Brooke.  We had so much fun.  As much as I wish I could go to Disneyland every week it was pretty special to see the excitement on Nathan's face when we got there.  I didn't get the same reaction when we used to go all the time.  Overall it was a great visit, I miss my family and my friends but I'm so grateful to be able to visit.  We were also able to see most of our friends at a birthday party for our friends Jeff and Cara's son who turned one.  It was SO nice to see them even if it was only for a few hours.

 Nathan loves watching the haunted mansion on you tube and surprised me by going on it!  He was a "tiny bit scared" but overall he liked it. 

We went to Kids Space the Children's Museum in Pasadena.  It was SO crowded but the kids loved it.  Nathan can't wait to go back next time.

We took the Metro to Old town for Dinner then to South Pas for ice cream.  It was such a fun night!

 It was a long and fun trip but we were all happy to be home.  Haha, love this picture of Nathan when we landed.
