We took our first getaway since coming to Colorado. We went to Beaver Creek, CO which is just past Vail. When we planed it we thought it was late enough in the year to not have to worry about snow, but we were wrong. Instead of staying 2 nights we only stayed 1. We wanted to beat the snow that was coming the second night and miss the traffic. I'm glad we left when we did because it's snowed a foot overnight and my car is not 4 wheel drive so I was nervous about the drive home anyway. It was really beautiful there, I hope to be able to go back again but this time maybe with just Kevin. There is a beautiful Westin right on the river with a great pool overlooking it. That sounds pretty nice right now.
