I really wanted to get Nathan some See's candy because that is what my mom always did for us kids but there are no See's stores close to me so that didn't happen. He ended up being just as happy with box of Sweethearts. I'll start that tradition next year.
We made some easy cut out Valentine's cookies and then headed up to Kevin's work and had lunch with him.
Tonight we are ordering take out, I never cook on Valentines day. Last year we started a tradition or getting take out from our favorite restaurant (Nicks in San Clemente, click Nick's to see the Menu). If you live close by and haven't eaten there, you are missing out. Needless to say our tradition will need to go on hold for hopefully only a couple a years.
